Martell Artists of the Year Tour Exhibition 2012

In the last eight years since its launch by Martell, the renowned French cognac brand in 2004, the “Martell Artists of the Year” annual award has recognized and organized tour exhibitions for thirty-four talented Chinese and international artists working with a variety of media including painting, sculpture, and photography. Xiang Jing’s natural-looking sculptures are classic and simple in style, and they capture the purity of human nature through a unique perspective.
In this relatively isolated space at the exhibition, Xiang Jing wishes to formulate an aesthetic that is self-evident, feminine, quiet and peaceful.
This exhibition was held at the Today Art Museum Beijing, the Shanghai Art Museum and the Guangdong Museum of Art.

Participating artists: Ye Yongqing, Xiang Jing, Liu Wei, Philip-Lorca di Corcia.
