Juergen Teller | Xiang Jing 2015

Xiang Jing and German artist and photographer Juergen Teller present the different faces of desire in this cross-medium, cross-cultural, and cross-gender duet. A fume of strange and wonderful chemistry fills the rooms as their works are placed in the same environment: the “speediness” of photography with the “slowness” of sculptural processes, the somewhat “aggressiveness” of photographs and the “quieter and somewhat self-contained” sculptures, and the intrinsic tension and closure embedded in the two art-forms.
