“When We No Longer Feel the World”: dialogue between Xiang Jing and Chen Jiaying & book release of Walk in the Intangible, Boundless Universe

On the afternoon of June 4th upon the release of Xiang Jing’s new book, Walk in the Intangible, Boundless Universe (《行走在无形无垠的宇宙》), the artist and Chen Jiaying arrived at The Roof Theater, Liangzhu Village Cultural Art Center, Hangzhou, for a dialogue. It was a continuation of a previous conversation Xiang Jing and Chen Jiaying had back in 2011, which was also included in the book. After years, the two friends opened their exchange again as an extension of their collision of minds.

Zhou Yun, editor of this new book joined the discussion, too, as the host of the dialogue. Surrounding one sentence, “when we no longer feel the world” more topics unfolded: today, are we still willing to feel the world? How can we feel it, and how can we express our feelings? And what about the relationship between technological advancement and feelings?
