Knots and Sutures Panel Discussion at Louise Bourgeois: The Eternal Thread

On November 3rd, 2018, Louise Bourgeois: The Eternal Thread opens at Long Museum West Bund, marking this French-American artist’s first large-scale museum exhibition in China. The exhibition will last until February 24th, 2019.
Xiang Jing was invited as one of the guest speakers to the opening panel discussion, Knots and Sutures, of The Eternal Thread on November 2nd. With other guest speakers: Philip Larratt-Smith (curator of the exhibition), Jerry Gorovoy (President of Louise Bourgeois’s The Easton Foundation and assistant to Bourgeois for 28 years), and Dr. Ulf Küster (art historian), the panel discussed Louise Bourgeois, one of the most important artists in the world, and her unique artistic language and life story.
