For Xiang Jing, 2016 was a grand summary and also a "renewal". Her Retrospective exhibition at Beijing Minsheng Art Museum "Upon This Anguish I Repose" and New Work "S" showcases both her past and present in front of our eyes, in a sensitive and deep way. With her sculptures, she stirs up our inner anxiety. Yet, benefiting from this anxiety, our body is awakened to the outside world and becomes inquisitive introspetively too. "Everyone has questions and everyone should pose their questions..." Xiang Jing's works has her own way of curing.
