Xiang Jing participates in international forum "Women as Creators” and her work shows in SHE: International Women Artists Exhibition at Long Museum West Bund

SHE: International Women Artists Exhibition opens at Long Museum (West Bund) in Shanghai. As the very first exhibition in China that features women artists from such a vast region and long history, the exhibition showcases more than 105 women artists from 13 countries and spans over 1000 years, and include more than 108 artworks. SHE covers Song, Ming, Qing Dynasties and continues to the contemporary age. 

Tate Modern's Director Frances Morris, Director of The Long Museum Wang Wei, Chinese artist Xiang Jing, British artist Jenny Saville, American artist Lisa Yuskavage participates in a forum discussion "Women as Creators" before the exhibition opens and provide their own persepceitves on becoming an artist as a woman and in different social contexts.

Some of the artists shown include: Pan Yuliang (Song Dynasty), Wen Chu (Qing Dynasty), Yun Bing (Qing Dynasty), Xiang Jing (China), Yu Hong (China), Cao Fei (China), Jiang Jie (China), Xiao Lu (China), Lin Tianmiao (China), Louise Bourgeois, Kiki Smith, Joan Mitchell, Lisa Yuskavage, Tracy Emin, Jenny Saville, Mona Hatoum, Marina Abramovic, Beatriz Mihazes, Marlene Dumas, etc.
