SONG OF SOUL: Trace the spirits and aesthetics across time and space 2022

On October 29th, 2022, Soul Art Center officially meets the public in the 798 District, Beijing. Remarking the establishment of the art center, with Fan Di’an, the Chief Academic Advisor, Zhang Zikang, the Chief Curator, and Su Mang, the Producer/Curatorial Director, the debut exhibition, “SONG OF SOUL: Trace the spirits and aesthetics across time and space” successfully opens.
With a retrospective approach, the group show invited and will showcase over 40 significant art works made since the year 2000, from 22 contemporary Chinese artists, to tell about the empathy of art to its time in the last two decades. With a curious way of installation, the exhibition, divided into three chapters that each speaks on the Easternity, time specificity, and rituality, represents the contemporary expressions in Eastern aesthetics, as well as spirituality and empathy across time and space.
