On the afternoon of August 17, 2019 saw the opening of XUNWAY third research-based exhibition “Encounter Medusa”in XUNWAY Space, Shanghai. The exhibition was the first showing of two artworks "Descending" and "Pain" newly created by Xiang Jing and Jin Weihong.
Discussions will follow after the exhibition opens. While the show continues to be on view for three months, we will bring together a number of scholars, art critics, artists and writers, including Han Bi, Yan Shanchun, Sun Zhouxing, Liao Wen, Wang Guangyi, Chen Xiwo, to discuss about the various issues surrounding the artworks, with an aim to inspire further thoughts and ideas.
